GUESS WHAT THIS IS
This, folks, is the New Cook County Correctional Center, Chicago, Illinois
(Oh yeah, they can also choose meals from the diverse menu!)
WHO was the US Senator who arranged the funds to build this new “Punishment Center”?
You guessed it..
It was OBAMA!
No wonder he sees nothing wrong with the wasted spending in his stimulus plan.
AND, why do you think he wants to move Gitmo terrorists HERE when he closes the Guantanamo facility? It’s pride of Authorship! This was HIS pet project!
Yet we have Americans living in cardboard boxes, many unable to get health care insurance, and those unable to secure a job and folks who are losing their homes to default and on and on and on!
But the terrorists suspected of killing innocent Americans can live out their sentences in a beautiful facility like this thanks to our President!
MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THIS, so please pass this on…
Kate Smith
In early 1940, Kate Smith, a fiercely patriotic American, and the biggest star on radio, was deeply worried about her country. She asked Irving Berlin if he could give her a song that would re-ignite the spirit of American patriotism and faith.
He said he had a song that he had written in 1917, but never used it. He said she could have it. She sat at the piano & played it and realized how good it was. She called Mr. Berlin and told him that she couldn’t take this from him for nothing.
So, they agreed that any money that would be made off the song would be donated to the Boy Scouts of America.
See the debut of Kate Smith singing God Bless America here.

Emergency Weather Bulletin
Al Gore’s dilemma
And we think we’re cold!
Emergency Weather Bulletin
This text is from a county emergency manager out in the western part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan after a severe snow storm …
The Mining Journal, Marquette, MI
WEATHER BULLETIN
Up here in the Northern part of Michigan we just recovered from a Historic event — may I even say a “Weather Event” of “Biblical Proportions” — with a historic blizzard of up to 44″ inches of snow and winds to 90 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10′s of thousands .
Go to Emergency Weather Bulletin to read the rest. You don’t want to miss this…

Time Gets Better With Age
Have you ever wondered if Time Gets Better With Age?
Read it through to the end, it gets better as you go!
I’ve learned that I like my teacher because she cries when we sings “Silent Night”.
Age 5
I’ve learned that our dog doesn’t want to eat my broccoli either.
Age 7
I’ve learned that when I wave to people in the country, they stop what they are doing and wave back.
Age 9
I’ve learned that just when I get my room the way I like it, Mom makes me clean it up again.
Age 12
I’ve learned that if you want to cheer yourself up, you should try cheering someone else up.
Age 14
I’ve learned that although it’s hard to admit it, I’m secretly glad my parents are strict with me.
Age 15
I’ve learned that silent company is often more healing than words of advice.
Age 24
I’ve learned that brushing my child’s hair is one of life’s great pleasures.
Age 26
I’ve learned that wherever I go, the world’s worst drivers have followed me there.
Age 29
I’ve learned that if someone says something unkind about me, I must live so that no one will believe it.
Age 30
I’ve learned that there are people who love you dearly but just don’t know how to show it.
Age 42
I’ve learned that you can make some one’s day by simply sending them a little note.
Age 44
I’ve learned that the greater a person’s sense of guilt, the greater his or her need to cast blame on others.
Age 46
I’ve learned that children and grandparents are natural allies.
Age 47
I’ve learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
Age 48
I’ve learned that singing “Amazing Grace” can lift my spirits for hours.
Age 49
I’ve learned that motel mattresses are better on the side away from the phone.
Age 50
I’ve learned that you can tell a lot about a man by the way he handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and
tangled Christmas tree lights.
Age 51
I’ve learned that keeping a vegetable garden is worth a medicine cabinet full of pills.
Age 52
I’ve learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you miss them terribly after they die.
Age 53
I’ve learned that making a living is not the same thing as making a life.
Age 58
I’ve learned that if you want to do something positive for your children, work to improve your marriage.
Age 61
I’ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
Age 62
I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catchers mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
Age 64
I’ve learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, the needs of others, your
work, meeting new people, and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.
Age 65
I’ve learned that whenever I decide something with kindness, I usually make the right decision.
Age 66
I’ve learned that everyone can use a prayer.
Age 72
I’ve learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one.
Age 82
I’ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch-holding hands, a warm
hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
Age 90
I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn.
Age 92
Time Gets Better With Age
I’ve learned that you should pass this one on to someone you care about. Sometimes they just need a little something to
make them smile.
More great information about your health.
Just Curious
You know, I was wondering and just curious….
Why is it that if you cross the North Korean border illegally you get thrown into prison and get 12 years of hard labor;
and if you cross the Iranian border while out supposedly leisurely hiking in the hills, you get arrested and imprisoned;
but if you cross the U.S. border illegally, you get a drivers’ license, a Social Security card, free health care and a free education!
Just curious.
The Law Is The Law
God and The Law Is The Law
So ‘if’ the US government determines that it is against the law for the words ‘under God’ to be on our money, I am suppose to say, so be it.
And ‘if’ that same government decides that the ‘Ten Commandments’ are not to be used in or on a government installation, then I am suppose to say, so be it.
I say, ‘so be it,’ because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen.
I say, ‘so be it,’ because I am suppose to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.
I am suppose to think that those people have the American public’s best interests at heart.
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I’D LIKE?
Since we can’t pray to God, can’t Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don’t believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I’d like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it’s just another day.
I’d like the ‘US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays.’ After all, it’s just another day.
I’d like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the ‘Christmas Break.’ After all it’s just another day.
I’m thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn’t cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be ‘politically correct.’
In fact….
I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshiping God…) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day….
What do you all think????
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the ‘minority opinions’ and begin, once again, to represent the ‘majority’ of ALL of the American people.
SO BE IT………..
Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!
‘Amen’ and ‘Amen’
These are definitely things I never thought about but from now on, I will be sure to question those in government who support these changes.
Changes We Need
Changes We Need
And Should Insist On
I wonder how much money could be saved with these changes!!!
